About Celeste…

Celeste has a background in museum education, theater, and immersive technologies.

She has worked in a variety of museums, theaters, and informal education environments including The National Air and Space Museum, The Smithsonian Associates, The Smithsonian’s Discovery Theatre, Adventure Theater MTC, & National Geographic. Across all of her roles, Celeste has focused on creating one-of-a-kind experiences and incredible memories for guests.

Currently Celeste is the Sr. Manager of Experiences, Content, & Curriculum for Meridian Treehouse—a nonfiction storytelling agency specializing in immersive education. Her work with Meridian Treehouse blends together her inquiry-based learning specialty with her stagecraft training and event production experience. The Meridian Treehouse team is constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in immersive education. They are most known for their large-scale synchronized VR theaters, though their work spans a wide variety of novel technologies and traditional instructional methods—whatever best serves the story, engages the audience, and sparks curiosity!

Celeste grew up in Ottawa, IL. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Theater, Fine Arts, and Art History from the George Washington University. Since 2010 she has volunteered for the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership foundation (HOBY), where she designs service learning experiences and leadership development programs. In her free time Celeste is an avid reader and an enthusiastic D&D adventurer.
